The Mexican Suitcase

More than 4,000 negatives by the prestigious photographers Robert Capa, Gerda Taro and David “Chim” Seymor which portrayed the Spanish Civil War disappear; they are recovered 70 years later in Mexico City. A documentary that unveils details on the role Mexico played in the Spanish Civil War and its support to the Spanish Republic in the exile, and lets us see how Spain confronts its past, forty years after its transition to democracy.
