Cervantes Dublin Theatre Club: Short stories by Gabriel García Márquez
During this new season of the theatre club, students will have the opportunity to get to know the writer and journalist Gabriel García Márquez through the reading of his short stories.
The goal of the workshop is for students to learn how to tell a story with a good narration, as well as to discover the vocal and physical strategies necessary for the storytelling and construction of characters in a story.
Additionally, students will have the opportunity to do improvisations of the stories to deepen their understanding of the themes.
This course, taught by theatre director and actress Sandra Villegas, is aimed at Spanish-speaking students or foreigners with a minimum Spanish level of B2.
Sandra Villegas has an academic background in drama and theatre, and in early childhood education. She has taught theatre workshops for all ages.
