Gracia Querejeta deals with the theme of adolescence and the challenges facing families to deal with it the correct way. It was filmed in Ciudad de la Luz (Alicante) and in Guipúzcoa in 2013. The main characters are renowned Spanish actors such as Maribel Verdú, Arón Piper or Tito Valverde.

15 years and one day tells the story of a troubled teenager and his grandfather Max, a retired serviceman who lives in a village situated on the Costa de la Luz. When Jon is expelled from school, his mother decides to send him with Max so that he deals with him. When they start living together conflicts between them will arise due to their different habits, ways of live, limitations and fears.

The film received the following awards at the Malaga Film Festival: Best Feature Film, Best Script, Best Original Score and Film Critics Special Award. It was selected to represent Spain at the 1986 Oscar Awards in the category Best Foreign Language Film.
