The Final Hour

Eduardo Mendoza de Echave (“The Gospel of the Flesh”) brings to life the true story of how years of undercover police work led to the arrest of Abimail Guzmán, leader of the Shining Path guerrilla movement. Carlos Zambrano and Gabriela Coronado are two detectives from Peru’s National Police Force who go undercover as a couple to find out the whereabouts of Guzmán. Unbeknownst to them, their work is being undermined by the CIA, the National Intelligence Service, their fellow detectives and even Fujimori’s infamous intelligence chief, Vladimiro Montesinos.
