Nos hacemos falta (We need each other)
José Luis AntuñaJuanjo Giménez's debut film addresses the encounter between different characters in a peculiar road-movie. Based on the good work of several of Giménez's fetish actors, this story of antiheroes does not deny the humanist commitment that its title announces.
Synopsis: A newly discovered eight-year-old brother, a bald and wicked colleague, a truck with clandestine cargo to travel through the desert in, and a girlfriend who's just nowhere to be found: all of that and a pinball unites the characters - all orphans, and some of them in more ways than one - that swarm in this feature film. Orphanhood ends up permeating the film itself, which, yes, never loses that certain point between ironic and sly, like someone who laughs at their own bad luck.
