No me despertéis (Don't wake me up)

Bilbao, 2009. Jone is an teenager who is studying 4th year of ESO (3rd year of Junior Cycle) at a secondary school where there is a vindictive and nationalist atmosphere. One day, his father assumes a political position in the Basque Government, so he will have to take an escort and leave behind the life he had. The national and international success of Patria (a novel by Fernando Aramburu that has been adapted to a TV series) is allowing the recovery of countless stories that help to contextualize and shed light on the social reality of the political division of the Basque Country. In this autobiographical story of director Sara Fantova we approach the vision of the youngest; a look less common than others.
