Sisters Cata and Eva are spending their summer vacation at their grandparents’ house in Mallorca when tragedy strikes after Cata discovers her grandmother’s dead body. Unable to process her grief, Cata begins to wear her grandmother’s dresses and even mimic her gestures. Her grandfather (Lluis Homar) often mistakes her for his wife, so alike are they physically and even temperamentally. Featuring a memorable performance from Zoe Stein as Cata, Aleñar Iglesias’ coming-of-age tale is a moving meditation on the many ways we deal with death.
