Chicago Flamenco Festival Kick Off - Antonia Jiménez
This project is the fruit of Antonia Jiménez's long career as a composer and flamenco guitarist to the elite of today´s flamenco dance stars (Olga Pericet, Marco Flores, Manuel Liñán ...), and many of these compositions have been heard in venues such as the famous Villamarta Theatre at the Jerez Festival, or the prestigious Lope de Vega Theatre during the Flamenco Bienal in Sevilla.The works resonate with a distinctly feminine emotion and reflect the search of a pure flamenco language, whose unique character and artistic quality make it a very special project indeed.
