Chicago Flamenco Festival 2015 - Yolanda Osuna “Tres puntales” / Old Town School Faculty: Maya Tatiana And Mehran Jalili
Pako Manzano Three struts is a show in which I want to reflect the main facets “Cante, Guitart and Dance” of a fundamentally scenic art form “Flamenco”. Yolanda was born in Córdoba in 1981. She studied in the Cordoba conservatory of dance obtaining in 1999 her degree in Spanish dance with the highest grade. She has also completed her education with excellent artists such as Javier Latorre, Matilde Coral, Milagros Mengíbar or Blanca del Rey among others. She has collaborated and shared the stage in numerous occasions with great figures of flamenco like: Mayte Martín, Miguel Poveda and Arcángel. Yolanda has obtained numerous awards of which it is possible to emphasize the Antonio Hidalgo award for the national show of fandangos of Lucena, the Young flamencos people award of the Excma, Delegation of Cordoba, the National award of sevillanas Villa de la Carlota, and the Nationals of Ubrique and Cádiz. In addition she has been finalist in two of the most important international competitions of flamenco, the National of Cordoba and the Cante de las Minas de La Unión.
