A Night of Flamenco Guitar with José Antonio Rodríguez

A prodigy who won first prize for flamenco guitar at prestigious national contests in both 1981 and 1982, Rodríguez went on to compose for the National Ballet of Spain, appear in two landmark Carlos Saura flamenco films, and perform with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. His CD Adiós Muchachos was declared by Spain's El País newspaper to be the best flamenco album of 2016. He was also a special guest artist at the 2017 Latin Grammys, performing alongside Luis Fonsi, Juan Luis Guerra, and Maluma.

This evening, Rodríguez will be joined by special guest and cantaora María José Melgar, bringing an unforgettable evening of passionate flamenco guitar and song to Chicago; one magical night only.
