The 25th Annual Chicago European Union Film Festivals runs from March 4 through March 17, the Gene Siskel Film Center welcomes you to our 25rd Annual Chicago European Union Film Festival. This largest festival in North America exclusively showcasing films originating in the European Union brings the vibrant cultures of Europe to the comfort of your theater seat, with 61 Chicago premieres representing all 28 EU nations.
We kick off our cinematic journey in France, with the Opening Night Chicago premiere of Xavier Giannoli's sumptuous and provocative LOST ILLUSIONS, starring Benjamin Voisin, Cécile de France, Xavier Dolan and Gérard Depardieu. Closing night celebrates another premiere with Spain's satirical and clever THE GOOD BOSS, directed by Fernando León de Aranoa and starring Javier Bardem.
