Ramadan Nights: Oriental oud concert by Alaa Shaheen

Renowned Jordanian oud player and composer Alaa Shaheen will star the Ramadan Nights that will be held at Instituto Cervantes in Amman presenting a recital of oriental oud accompanied by the percussion of Ahmad Jarrah.  

Shaheen graduated from the Arab Oud House in 2003 as Oud Soloist, and he was educated by the Iraqi artist Naseer Shamma (one of the best Oud player in the Arab world).  

Alaa Shaheen is the founder of the Music Group “Awtar”, and The House of Arabic Oud in Jordan. He has founded a new Indonesian method in playing the Oud, and has participated in numerous music events and festivals in Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco and Italy.
