The Asphalt
El asfalto (Narciso Ibáñez Serrador, 1966)A gentleman with a casted leg walks through the big city during a hot summer day. The sun melts the pavement, and the good man remains attached to an asphalt stain, without being able to pull off. He asks a child for help, also asks potential passers-by, the police as well, but nobody gives attention to him. Some ignore him because they think he is a deformed person while others simply refuse to help.
