In their own voice (poetic archive)
Instituto Cervantes in Amman is sharing virtual recitals of renowned Spanish and Latin American poets in their own voice. Among the participant poets we mention: Carlos Marzal, Luis Alberto de Cuenca, Antonio Moreno, Bibiana Collado, Deborah Vukusic, Vicente Gallego, José María Micó, José Manuel Lucía, Jorge Urrutia, José Saborit, Ada Salas, Antonio Lucas, Amalia Bautista, Jorge Valdés Díaz-Velez, Héctor Abad Faciolince, Juan Marqués, Álvaro García (sung by Conde), Piedad Bonnett (reading Octavio Paz), and many others.
The poets will send us their video poems read by themselves and we will share them with our students and friends. The idea is that students can enjoy and appreciate Spanish and Latin American poetry thanks to the voice of the poets. Poetry keeps us all united with a thread of voice, their own voice…
The poetic videos will be published every Tuesday on our social networks and followers will be able to make live comments and questions with the poets.
