Talk with Óscar Aibar

This talk will take place after the screening of the feature film 'El Sustituto'.

Óscar Aibar (1967, Barcelona) is one of the most original and interesting filmmakers of his generation. He has shot the films 'El sustituto' (2020), 'El bosque' (2012), 'El gran Vázquez' (2010), 'Rumores' (2008), 'La máquina de bailar' (2006), 'Platillos volantes' (2004) and 'Atolladero' (1995), winning several awards at different film festivals around the world. As a writer he has published the novels 'Making Of' (2008) and 'Los comedores de tiza' (2005) and the book of short stories 'Tu mente extiende cheques que tu cuerpo no puede pagar' (2002) and more than 500 pages as a graphic novel writer in different magazines and albums. He has also directed pop videos for famous Spanish bands like Loquillo and TV series like 'Cuéntame cómo pasó' (RTVE).
