Presentations from the issue of the Revista de Estudios Hispánicos (Journal of Hispanic Studies) dedicated to Fiestón de la Lengua 2023: tribute to Luis Rafael Sánchez; the short stories of Emilio S. Belaval and the novel Amnesia.
This issue of the Revista de Estudios Hispánicos includes many of the papers and presentations read at the Fiestón de la Lengua 2023: Tribute to Luis Rafael Sánchez, which the University of Puerto Rico held at its campuses in Río Piedras, Bayamón, Humacao, Arecibo, Mayagüez, Carolina, and Cayey, as a tribute to our most famous living author, Luis Rafael Sánchez.
On the other hand, Emilio S. Belaval's short stories have the historical value of being a first edition, because they include stories that the author had originally excluded from Cuentos para fomentar el turismo (1946), and the novel Amnesia, by Dr. Miguel Ángel Náter, recounts the life of one of Puerto Rico's most important literary critics, Concha Meléndez.
