Oro rojo
Cartel Oro rojo.Already with her first short film, Organizar lo (im)posible (2017), co-directed with Tonina Matamalas, filmmaker Carme Gomila forcefully expressed her social commitment to the role of women in the world of work. While in her first short film she showed the reality of the "kellys" (colloquial term to designate the floor maids in hotels), in this second work, and hand in hand with animation, she clearly exposes the devastating system of the logic of capitalism. This short film won the Special Jury Mention at the Interfilm Berlin - International Short Film Festival in Berlin.
Synopsis: This animated short film uses the situation of three Moroccan immigrant women working in the countryside of Huelva to build a social denunciation that encompasses issues such as environmental exploitation, racism and capitalism.
