Discovering Bernardo de Gálvez. Talk about one of the key characters in the history of the United States

We started this talk with an online dialogue between the American historian and New Mexico resident Tom Chávez, and the writer Francisco Reyero. Both present the latest book of this author " And Bernardo de Gálvez entered Washington ", in which he narrates the role of Bernardo de Gálvez (Governor of Spanish Louisiana) in the War of Independence of the United States. The role of the general was so important that George Washington said that if the Spanish military had not given its aid, and that of Spain, to the United States, it would not have won the war against the United Kingdom. His intervention was essential in taking different squares, the most famous, Pensacola, Florida, thus helping the American cause.
