11th edition of Cine Magnifico! Latino Film Festival
Instituto Cervantes Albuquerque is launching the eleventh edition of Cine Magnífico, the Albuquerque Latino Film Festival, from September 20 to 23. In its ten previous editions, this event has been committed to the dissemination of culture and audiovisual creation in Spanish and has given visibility over the years in New Mexico to numerous quality films and short films made in Spain and several Spanish-speaking countries.
The 2023 edition of the festival will be held at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque and will be complemented by screenings in Santa Fe (NM) and El Paso (Texas). It will include twenty feature and short films from countries such as Spain, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, the United States and the Dominican Republic. Cine Magnifico will also feature panel discussions, talks and a focus on young filmmakers from New Mexico.
