Spanish Reading Group: Llegar de fuera

The Library of the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester invites you to join our Spanish Reading Group!

This is a wonderful opportunity for Spanish language learners to explore Hispanic literature in a friendly and welcoming environment, tailored to your level.
In the June session, we invite you to explore the work of four Spanish-language women writers with diverse cultural backgrounds: Najat El Hachmi (Nador, 1979), Meryem El Mehdati (Rabat, 1991), Gabriela Wiener (Lima, 1975) and Rocío Quillahuaman (Lima, 1994).

Their texts reflect the shared experience of living between cultures and convey—through a free, critical, and honest perspective, sometimes full of irony—something as contemporary as having arrived from elsewhere and belonging to several places at the same time.
