Feria Internacional del Libro en Nueva York
The New York City International Book Fair (FILNYC), organized by the CUNY Mexican Studies Institute, celebrates and promotes Spanish-language literature in the United States, providing a meeting place for authors, publishers, editors, book professionals, librarians, and readers. Instituto Cervantes New York joins this initiative by hosting the Lorca Evening on Thursday, October 23, and supporting the programming organized by the Directorate-General for Books and Reading of Spain’s Ministry of Culture.
From October 21 to 25, Instituto Cervantes actively participates in FILNYC, supporting a wide range of activities including panel discussions, staged readings, and professional gatherings held across different venues in New York City. Through this collaboration, Instituto Cervantes reaffirms its commitment to the international promotion of the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures, strengthening connections among creators, cultural professionals, and audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.
