Professional Gathering of Spanish Creators in New York
The Instituto Cervantes of New York proposes the organization of the event “Meeting with Spanish Creative Practice in New York”, to be held on September 15, bringing together up to 150 professionals from the cultural and creative sectors. The aim of this initiative is to create a space for exchange and visibility for contemporary Spanish cultural production, fostering dialogue among artists, cultural managers, curators, institutions, and cultural professionals based in the United States. The event also seeks to strengthen professional networks, encourage new collaborations, and position Spanish cultural production within New York’s cultural ecosystem.
The organization of this gathering will help consolidate the role of the Instituto Cervantes as a leading platform for the promotion of Spanish culture abroad, facilitating access to new audiences and reinforcing strategic ties with the international cultural sector. The proposed investment will cover the costs associated with the planning, production, and engagement activities of the event, ensuring its quality, reach, and impact in terms of cultural visibility, public diplomacy, and artistic cooperation.
