The Library of the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester invites you to join our Spanish Reading Group!

This is a wonderful opportunity for Spanish language learners to explore Hispanic literature in a friendly and welcoming environment, tailored to your level.

For the October session, we invite you to explore the work of Mario Benedetti (Uruguay, 1920-2009), journalist, novelist, poet, and one of the most important figures in Latin American literature during the second half of the twentieth century. We will read the short stories La noche de los feos, El otro yo, Esa boca, Verde y sin Paula and Miss Amnesia.
