Spanish Film Day. The Disenchantment (Online)

We are celebrating Spanish Film Day for the sixth consecutive year, highlighting the richness and quality of Spain’s cinematic heritage. This year, the Instituto Cervantes will screen The Disenchantment (El desencanto, 1976) on its Vimeo channel. Directed by Jaime Chávarri, this documentary offers an intimate and candid portrait of the family of poet Leopoldo Panero, fourteen years after his death, against the backdrop of Spain’s transition to democracy.

The film, presented in Spanish with subtitles in several languages, will be available on the Instituto Cervantes Vimeo channel for 48 hours, starting at 10:00 a.m. (GMT+2) on October 5.
