XV Festival ISLA
In this 15th edition of the ISLA (Irish Spanish Latin American) Festival, some of the most representative voices from Ireland, Spain, and Spanish-speaking countries will engage in dialogue three events spread across two days dedicated to literature, creativity, and contemporary thought.
We will have the opportunity to hear from figures such as journalist Roger Mateos (Spain), writer Katya Adaui (Peru), and writer Mary Costello (Ireland), followed by multifaceted author Alain-Paul Mallard (Mexico), writer and visual artist Sara Baume (Ireland), and scientific researcher Guido Giunti (Argentina). On the second day, we will enjoy a conversation between poets Sergio García Zamora (Cuba) and Billy Ramsell (Ireland), and we will close the festival with the screening of a Chilean film that will leave us with a very good taste in our mouths: Denominación de Origen (Designation of Origin).
In Spanish and English, with simultaneous interpretation into both languages.
